Renault-Algeria: Preparation For The Implementation Of The Project’s Second Phase

Industry and Mines Minister, Djamila Tamazirt, chaired on Tuesday a working meeting with officials of the Renault-Algeria plant, which focused on the implementation of the second phase of the project.

During the meeting, the first phase of the project related to SKD was evaluated with the progress in integration, and the creation of jobs and export orientation.

The meeting discussed the progress of the second phase of the project “CKD”, which was scheduled to start next year.

The Minister focused, during the meeting with officials of Renault Algeria, on the important points, especially the development of handling in the factory, and she also called for the necessity of developing the factory activity in line with the legal provisions in force.
