In a statement to the newspaper “Echorouk”, national coach Rabah Saâdane has described as most positive his recent European tour aimed at finding an appropriate sporting site for the next training camp of the Algeria football squad in expectation of the upcoming qualifiers of the 2010 combined World cup and Africa cup of nations competition.

Saâdane said that he had visited, together with one of his close collaborators, several sporting sites endowed with all the necessary amenities in southern France and in Spain.

The national coach asserted that he had first to consult the chairman of the Algerian football federation –FAF- Mohamed Raouraoua to whom he will submit this week an exhaustive report on the findings of his European prospective tour in a bid to ease the decision – making on the matter.

Reliable sources told “Echorouk” that the mobile telephony operator “Nedjma” is to initial today at the FAF premises in upper Algiers, a sponsoring contract for the benefit of the Algeria football team and the Algeria cup contest for the period 2009/2010.
