Security investigate on funds of Social services at a Syrian company

Security services are investigating on the funds of social services at the Syrian company “Lid” which is operating in the oil wells since years in Hassi Messaoud (south of Algeria),confirmed sources told Echorouk.

Same sources added that the investigation would also reach some of the officials of the General Union of Algerian Workers, after it was ‭shown that the company ‭paid ‭about ‭ one and a half ‭billion ‭centimes ‭as rights ‭of Algerian workers, however, ‭ the destination of the money is not clear until now. ‬ ‮

According to information confirmed by Echorouk, the drop,which elaborated the cup is the one related to the file of social services, as workers did not receive money for this part for years in spite of efforts made ​​by the branch of trade union which is frozen on what is called the money of “poor people” taken by a foreign company.

According to some sources, the company did its duty and paid the same amount in the account of the General Union of Algerian Workers, but the workers were not given money, a case which is under investigation by the services of security to determine the fate of these funds and who is responsible about their distribution, ‭and wether this was done legaly , and for the benefit of whom?

In the same context continue, more than 700 Algerian workers in same company specialized in the refining of oil, continue their strike in the capital of black gold, because of what they described as “bad situation”, at a time the authorities keep silence.

Some workers told Echorouk that they called for the necessity of improving their present and look again at the number of work hours, as well as increasing wages compared to the exhausted job, like any other workers of foreign companies, because these companies are partners of Sonatrach in the wild desert areas. They also demanded to get some few days of rest, ‭like ‭the rest of the workers of the ‭national and foreign companies‭. ‬
