Security services summoned senior officials to investigate on governor's kidnap
Algiers (21/01/2012)-Security services began investigating in the circumstances of Illizi Governor’s kidnapping by an armed group south of Algeria, informed sources told Echorouk.
The same sources added that security services listened to the members of security agents who were in charge of protecting the governor’s convoy and his personal bodyguards as well.
The security services also investigate with a number of employees at the headquarters of the municipality and some officials at the Local Council of Illizi (south of Algeria), in order to determine the responsibilities and arrest the defaulting parties, responsible for what happened during the visit of the governor to Adabdab (Algerian-Libyan borders).
Security services will continue investigations in the case, according to Echorouk sources, after senior officials were summoned for interrogation on the back ground of making personal decisions that put the live of some, who moved in the convoy of Illizi governor, to danger during the visit to the region of Adabdab.
