Sonatrach a 3.85% Shareholder in Gas Natural

Algeria hydrocarbons group Sonatrach has officially taken 3.85 percent stake in the Spanish hydrocarbons giant Gas Natural Fenosa.

Gas Natural Fenosa and Sonatrach have announced on Tuesday reaching an agreement in Algiers permitting the Algerian firm to take 3.85 percent stake, representing 38.1 million shares, of an overall of 991.6, by an amount of 514.7 million Euros.

The two sides reached an agreement in Algiers that ends a long-running dispute over gas supply deals, and committed to cooperate in future energy projects.
