Spanish Marca Newspaper: “Juaquin Caparros Official Algeria Football Team Coach”

Joaquin Caparros will officially lead the Algerian football team, as successor of the Belgian George Leekens, Spanish sport newspaper Marca reported on Wednesday.

“Caparros who is jobless since last January, after being fired from the technical young team of the Spanish club Osasuna after a series of negative results, agreed with the Head of the Algerian Football Federation on everything, and his main task is to qualify to the finals of the World Cup 2018 in Russia”.
If some national media references have pointed to the approach of Caparros to lead the Desert Warriors, like what is said in the “Competition” newspaper last Sunday, and Echorouk Sports in the same day, the Spanish “Marca” gave new details, by revealing the identity of some assistants of the Spanish coach, like his old friend Luciano Martin, in addition to bringing the technician Javier Minano, who previously worked with the former coach of “La Roja” Vicente del Bosque.
New head of the AFF (FAF), Khireddine Zetchi, is breaking his promise to reveal the name of the new coach within 20 days, following his election as a successor to his predecessor, Mohamed Raouraoua, on March 20, now the Spanish Marca announced what the former head  of Algiers Paradou club refused to reveal, especially since the Algerian football fans are eagerly looking to know who will lead the “Desert Warriors”.
If Zetchi reached a final and formal agreement with Caparros to lead the Greens, and then hesitated to announce this and breaks his promise to the fans, this is considered the first error against him.
