Special Medical Teams to Help Victims of Heat Southern Algeria

Health services in many southern wilayas put a special team that includes all the human and medical knowledge to take care of patients caused by the heat wave that occured in the south of the country these days, and the other various diseases.

This team also includes private health practitioners, and is based mainly on supporting the medical means and human resources to the emergency services of the various health structures and direct sensitization through waves of local radio stations in these wilayas for people with chronic diseases, and through providing guidance and medical advice about reducing‭ their movements during the height of the heat‭. ‬ ‮

Official at the hospital of Ouergla (southern Algeria) said that the services of emergency receives everyday 15 to 20 patients who suffer health complications due to the high degrees of heat.
