Former Foreign Minister, Ahmed Taleb El Ibrahimi, described Algeria’s First President, late Ahmed Ben Bella, as a Egyptian intelligence production, after he failed to contain both Houcine Ait Ahmed and Mohamed Kheidar.

Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi minimised, in his testimony of the era, that was aired on Al Jazeera, the areola that followed Ahmed Ben Bella during the Algerian revolution saying; “Egyptian intelligence studied the members of the  foreign  delegation of FLN abroad in Egypt including Houcine Ait Ahmed, Mohamed Kheidar and Ahmed Ben Bella, and when it realised that it is unable to intake Ait Ahmed and Kheidar, and noticed that Ben Bella was more flexible this myth generated”.

Ibrahimi , who was at that time head of the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students in France, said that the French media and due to the news that Arab Voice radio was aired from
Cairo on Ben Bella, that momentum was created around him.

“I do not underestimate Ahmed Ben Bella, but those are facts that should be discussed. He brought arms”.

Statements of Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi came after the echo that Jeune Afrique magazine interview with Ahmed Ben Bella two years ago, which talked about his revolutionary track resuming it in one sentence; First of November was me.
