Tebboune: “Citizens eager for public promotional housing can submit relevant files”
The Minister of housing and town planning, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has announced that citizens willing to acquire new public promotional housing units can as from next week submit the necessary files to the relevant administrative offices of their respective province for a thorough eligibility study.
He indicated that the government had allotted for this type of housing a substantial financial budget required for the construction of thousands of brand-new flats for those citizens yearning for decent accommodation at much affordable prices as part of the installment system already in force in Algeria notably for the AADL housing program..
Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune made the statement in the new town of Bouinan in central Blida province where he laid the foundation stone of a new 5.000 AADL housing site which is expected to be achieved within a 26 month time-frame together with the Minister of environment Amara Benyounes.
The minister urged to this effect those in charge of this construction site to strictly abide by the set deadline or face tough sanctions from the relevant ministerial department in case of any delay in the delivery of the new housing units assigned to average and low income earners from the province.
