Tebboune: “The Algerian Police Services Have Become A Model Of Global Professionalism”

On Thursday, President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, saluted the police services, who watch over the security of individuals and properties, day and night, and praised the efficiency and professionalism of cops in the field to implement the laws of the Republic and to maintain public security in the service of the comfort and tranquillity of Algerian citizens.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a congratulatory message to the police officers and agents on the occasion of commemorating the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Algerian Police Services; “Algerian male and female cops, officers of various levels, agents and affiliates, are proud to cherish the gains attested by the performance of the Algerian police today, as they have become a model in the highly professional and acclaimed experience and expertise in our regional surroundings and the world.”

“The Algerian police have reached this prestigious position thanks to the painstaking sacrifices, the sincere national efforts made by the daughters and sons of the police, and thanks to the balance it has achieved over the past years and contributed to its strength and field effectiveness. The mixture of frames’ experience and the vitality of youth who join the ranks of the police and the dependence on their official uniforms, national commitment and professional discipline”, he added.

“Today, as we celebrate the fifty-eighth anniversary of the founding of the Algerian police, we remember with appreciation and gratitude those who paid their lives for the sake of national duty, and we bow before their souls, may God have mercy on them, and those who spent years of their lives in the arms of the police family, and immortalize today with full merit for honourable retirement.”

In this particular circumstance – the President said – “They are making double efforts, and we appreciate their hardships and difficulties while Algeria is facing the Covid19. I appreciate every effort, I am aware of the suffering and sacrifices that keep the cops far from their families in these extraordinarily difficult days.”

He asserted that “the noble tasks of the police forces dictate to us, in addition to appreciation and gratitude, the constant endeavour to provide the climate and incentives to assist in its promotion and enhance its field capabilities. The public authorities must remain a supportive, effective and professional performance keeping pace with the times and able to tackle crime, deter all perversions and phenomena, and extend tranquillity and a sense of security in the Algerian society”.
