Tens of Algerian migrants blocked in Alicante as vessel was prevented from sailing off.
They spent three days and nights in Alicante port in Spain.

Tens of Algerians settled in Spain were obliged to spend Aid Al Adha in the port of Alicante, Spain as the boat they were scheduled to board for Oran was prevented from sailing because of heavy rainfalls with high speed winds. The boat staffs until conditions are better. According to al Algerian immigrant living in Spain ‘’we spent three nights in Alicante port. The passengers were upset. Our Immigrant also added that they spent all that period of time inside the port ‘’with no help from the Algerian nor the Spanish concerned authorities’’Food, drinking water to prepare milk for kids and the cold in nights were faced by these passengers who were waiting for the vessel and sail off to Oran at the earliest. People got even sick because of the cold while toilets for women were in bad states generating a feeling of uncomfortability. The remaining part of this story might be the one Air Algérie strike had on its passengers who claimed compensation for not having taken the plane and lost time and money for many of them. The Alicante port authority can also be subject of a justice complaint deposited for negligence and lack of respect said our source.
