Terrorists Resort to Stealing Shepherds to Survive

The western borderline has been subject to tough security measures, as customs border guards have been watching closely the south west border, and army forces have been conducting combing operations all along the line.

The army forces have used helicopters to watch up the region, amid reports circulated by Moroccan media saying an Algerian terror group had infiltrated to Morocco, contacted a local citizen, gave him 30 thousand DZD and required him to buy them some stuffs, yet the citizen had informed the local authorities. Three days later, when the terrorists were about to meet the citizen to be delivered the order, a clash erupted with Moroccan security forces, forcing the terrorists to flee and disappear in the nature, media sources said.

Such an incident reflects that terror groups activating in the western region are toughly surrounded and hardly could find sources of supply, following the arrest by National Gendarmerie in Tlemcen province of more than 30 people suspected of providing help and supply to terror groups.

Terrorists have been resorting recently to stealing livestock from shepherds in Beni Senous and Djbel Asfour woods, near Tlemcen, to survive the tough security services measures aiming at drying terrorists’ financial and supply sources.
