The election of the consultative council of the community abroad to be held in March

The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and National Community Abroad, Mr. Djamel Ould Abbas decided Friday to hold the election of the consultative council in March. It includes 100 members. Of them, 56 will be elected within the next month by the Algerian people living abroad after the adoption of a common resolution.

• Mr.Ould Abbas and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mr. Rachid Harraoubia held a press conference on the sidelines of the opening of the permanent University of the Algerian community abroad, took place in El Oued, south eastern the capital Algiers.

• In a meeting between Mr.Ould Abbas and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mr. Rachid Harraoubia in El Oued (southeast of Algeria), a number of issues were on the agenda particularly the method of electing the majority members of the consultative council, 56 members, to be more credible and the problems and aspirations of our community abroad.
