The Euro, Dollar In Algiers Black Market: No Common Price For Sale!

The prices of hard currency in Algiers Port Said black market noticed chaos and fluctuation amid the absence of a unified price of the euro and the dollar, as the price rises in the morning because of the increasing demand by pilgrims, even those heading to attend the African Nations Cup of Nations days ago, but the prices collapsed again in the evening in light of the conflicting news and a great fear among the citizens and sellers.

Many of the cashiers are reluctant to sell, especially since this period coincides with the pilgrimage trips, where the first trip to the Holy Sites was launched on July 14, while the hard currency sellers in Algiers black market said that the price of the euro to buy ranges between DZD 20.300 and DZD 19.200 dinars, while the sale still ranges between DZD 18.000 and DZD 18.900 in some provinces such as Setif and Tebessa, and this is one hundred units of the euro against the Algerian dinar, which confused the accounts of cashiers, and made them unable to set a unified price for the hard currency on the black market.

The US dollar is living the same scenario, where the price of 100$ is between DZD 18.800 and DZD 19.000 in Algiers Port Said square (black market), while it reaches 17.000 DZD in some provinces, especially in the border cities, and the price of selling it from one seller to another according to demand and quantity available per hundred units of the American currency.

Before that, the price of the euro in the hard currency market collapsed at Algiers Port Said Square, since two weeks ago, and reached DZD 20.300 per 100 euros, after exceeding earlier DZD 21.500, and reached since a month ago DZD 22.000, while the price of the dollar, which was days ago is equivalent DZD 19.100 dinars per 100 euros and DZD 18.200 dinars.

The exchange rate of the euro increased, last March, at the hard currency market in Algiers Port Said Square to DZD 21.600 per 100 euros, and the European currency is in an upward trend, in just weeks, and specifically since the beginning of social mobility, on last February,22.
