The Government Authorizes a Pro Syrian Revolution Rally in Algiers

A mega rally in solidarity with the Syrian revolution will be held on 28 March in the 20 August Stadium in Algiers.

The sit-in is organized by the Algerian Commission for the Support of the Syrian People, after receiving an authorization by Algerian authorities, organizers said. Meanwhile, the commission is due to send humanitarian aids to 30 thousand Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan, after fleeing the crackdown of Bashar Assad army in the violence-ridden Syria. Organisers said they are waiting for the green light of Algeria Foreign Ministry to send the medical and food aids. A couple of days ago, al-Irshad wa al-Islah humanitarian organization has managed to send humanitarian aids to Syrian refugees in Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon.
