The Greens Likely to Play a Friendly Later May

The Bosnian manager of Algeria football squad, Vahid Halilhodzic, has scheduled a set of training camps as by later May, ahead of the road to the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

Head of the Football Federation (FAF), Mohamed Raouraoua told the local radio channel III that coach Halilhodzic is likely to ask for scheduling a friendly game later May, given that the FIFA timetable offers such an option, and that all the players will be free from competition with their clubs by then.

The Greens have managed returning home with a precious win (1-2) against Gambia, as part of the first leg of the second round qualifiers to CAN 2013.

The squad arrived Tuesday morning to Algiers International Airport. Later on, players performing in Europe have travelled separately returning to their clubs.

Meanwhile, coach Halilhodzic has held a work meeting with his staff in the national sport centre of Sidi Moussa, in the southern outskirts of Algiers, to assess the outcomes of Gambia clash.

The Bosnian coach will continue following up the performance of the players with their clubs, ahead of the kick off of the qualifiers to the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

To recall Algeria will play three tough games within two weeks. For the first round of the qualifiers to the World Cup, Feghoul’s mates will host Rwanda in Mustapha Tchaker Stadium (1 June), in Blida, before travelling to Bamako to clash with Mali (8 June), and then hosting Gambia in the second leg of CAN 2013 second round qualifiers (16 June).
