The Handball Greens Won’t Make It To London Olympics, Derouaze
Former Minister of Sport, Mohamed Aziz Derouaze, assumed that Algeria Handball national squad would not manage qualifying to the Olympic Games of London 2012.
Mr Derouaze rung the alarm as of the down to earth level of sport in Algeria, saying the “weak” performances of Algerian athletics in different international competitions reflect such degradation.
Mr Derouaze who was the guest of Echorouk assumed that the degradation of sport level in the country is due to several factors, including the appointment of incompetent managers on the top of different sport associations.
He further added that the responsibility is also shouldered by authorities which appointed those incompetent managers, in addition to media which “play the blind” on such failures.

6 squads will be qualifying to the Olympic Games in this playoff, “but Algeria won’t be able to get a ticket regarding the quality and strength of the participating nations, Mr Derouaze said.
