The Ministry of Defense acquires a warship worth 450 million Euros from Italy

The Ministry of National Defense signed a deal with the Italian Company of Military Industry “CantieriVene”, for the acquisition of new naval vessels at 450 million Euros for the benefit of the Algerian Naval Forces, the company said on Thursday.

 “The Algerian Defense Ministry signed a deal with the Italian company to build a naval frigate for military logistic support. The process of building a warship will take place in the Italian company in “Riva Trigozo” and “Moggiono”, near the city of Genoa”, the company’s statement added.

“The company of building and equipping the company will be assigned to branches owned by the company of Cantiere Vene at the request of the Defense Ministry’ Foundation of Horizontal Naval Systems”.
