The chief of Staff of rebel forces in Libya, Abdel Fattah Younes has once more accused Algeria of backin up the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, saying he his accusations are based on strong evidences.

The rebel told the London-based a-Shark al-Awsat newspaper: “We have recently discovered a ship carrying weapons coming from Algeria on its way to Libya,” adding: “The NATO, the western military coalition and the EU had warned Algeria for the last time, and such support must end.”

It is worth to mention that Algeria had firmly denied reports alleging that authorities allowed a ship carrying weapons for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s forces to dock in Djen Djen port, east of the country.

Yet, the military chief of rebels in Libya further said: “Let them (Algerian officials) deny as they wish, as we don’t talk from nothing,” stressing that “once Libya is freed and the regime of Gaddafi is toppled, we would reveal all the truth on the support provided by Algeria to the regime of Gaddafi.”

He further dismissed recent rumors about his injury or death. The former Muammar Gaddafi aide mocked these rumors and accused Gaddafi regime of distributing this false information in order to influence the morale of the rebels.
