The president of JS Kabylia Mohand Cherif Hannachi pledges to heartily welcome the Egyptians.

After their precious victory in Egypt against “Al Ismailya”, the president of the Algerian club, JS Kabylia , Mohand Cherif Hannachi was the invitee of “Echourok Forum” and discussed several issues surrounding his club and the future prospects of the African Champions League.

  • Despite the their win in the away match versus the Egyptian club “Al Ismailya” in the African Champions League in Egypt, the president has expressed his worries concerning the return match due to take place in Tizi Ouzou ,Algeria and the behaviour of the fans especially during the match against the other Egyptian club” Al Ahly”.

  • “ We cannot predict the reaction of our fans against the Egyptian clubs so far”, adding “ We hope that the matches will take place in a total Fair Play”, he said.

  • The president went on saying in this respect “ I hope the match will take place in a good spirit and call on our fans to be Fair Play and avoid mistakes and misbehaviours that will cost us a lot”. He also talked about the next match versus the Nigerian club “Heartland” slated for July 31, considering it as a real test for the rest of the competition.

  • As to the reasons behind the denial to relocate the match at 5 July Olympic stadium here in Algiers to avoid troubles with the fans, the president replied that the decision to play in Algiers would penalize a lot of fans that live in Tizi Ouzou who have also the right to watch their team on their pitch.

  • Optimistic for the future of the competition

  • The president Mohand Cherif Hannachi was quite optimistic as to going as far as possible in the African Champions League after the precious victory over the Egyptian club Al Ismaylia. The victory in Egypt has boosted our chances to and made of one of the favourites especially if we win the next match against “Heartland”.
