The Soldier Who Killed Accidently a Woman Sent to Custody

Blida Military Court has ordered referring the soldier who accidentally killed a woman, K.Zahia, 55, in Fréha municipality in Tizi Ouzou province, to custody pending trial.

Sources told Echorouk reporter that the soldier was summoned on Wednesday morning and heard by the judge at the Military Court, to hear his version of the incident, before referring him to custody. 

Yet, the National Gendarmerie Unit in Fréha Municipality has summoned the two women who were with the victim and who were injured during the incident, in addition to summoning two other witnesses.

Such an incident has provoked the indignation of the population of Fréha, as merchants there had gone on strike on Tuesday, while the victim’s relatives are requiring knowing the circumstances of the death of their dear.
