Traffic accidents break records over the two days of the Ramadan.
Figures released by security services reveal that 150 traffic accidents were blamed for 30 deaths and 222 injuries over the first two days of the holy month of Ramadan.

Most of the accidents were caused by foolishness of the drivers who break do not respect the basic rules of the traffic code and generally carry out dangerous manoeuvres just to be on time for breaking fast.

While traffic is flowing more smoothly than usual in the morning till noon, the pace is going crescendo in the afternoon so are the tempers. The overzealous drivers and passersby loose their calm and generally resort to either streets fights or hazardous driving manoeuvres that generally lead to accidents.

Figures released by the national gendarmerie services have revealed that 46 traffic accidents have caused the death of 19 people and 97 injuries during the first day of Ramadan, while the death toll has reached 8 individuals and 72 injuries were caused by 37 accidents on the second day.
