Tunisia Exempts Algeria From Schedule Of Epidemiological Situation
The Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Algeria announced the exclusion of Algeria from the schedule of the epidemiological situation as a condition for reopening the borders.
A statement by the embassy, on its official Facebook page, said: “In the context of preparations to open the Tunisian borders on June 27, 2020, the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Algeria states that the Tunisian Ministry of Health has excluded neighboring countries (including Algeria) from the classification schedule of the epidemiological situation of the countries of the world.”
The statement added, “Accordingly, the embassy requests all Tunisian citizens present in the Algerian soil to wait for the new measures to be taken in consultation between the two neighboring countries.”
