Union of Education Workers to continue the open-ended strike

National Union of Education and Training Workers renewed its adherence to the right of integration with 80% for teachers and professors of basic education at the levels of professor trainer or major professor, and to improving social and professional conditions for the professionals workers and agents of security and prevention.

The union asserted that the decision to continue ‭striking ‭will happen here on Saturday, adding the agreement with the Ministry of Education has not yet been reached. ‬

The Union called upon the UNAPAF syndicate, in a statment, to the need to postpone the issuance of the amended Basic Law, declaring its adherence to the right of the integration of teachers and professors of basic and technical education,assistants of education, assistants of economic services and experts unconditionally, in addition to opening future prospects ‭for the rest of ‭services that are affected, and adherence to ‭ ‬ ‭ ‬ improving social and ‭professional conditions of the common servcies. ‭ ‬

The same statment asserted that the strike ‭will continue, untill the meeting of the National Council on Saturday‭ ‬and Sunday, ‭declaring on the ‭organization of a ‭national gathering on Sunday in front of the headquarters of the Union‭ in Algiers‭. ‬
