Unknown parties pressure to forbid the Algerian flight company to fly over the European sky: company’s CEO reveals
The Algerian airline company “ Air Algérie “ is due to display next Wednesday in Brussels, Belgium, the conformity documents concerning the safety standards required by the European Union for the Algerian fleet in the wake of relentless pressures applied by this organization to allow the landing of the Algerian flights on the different European airports.
- The company’s chairman, Ouahid Bouabdellah, has indicated, in this respect, in a declaration made yesterday to Echourok that the report was ready and comply to the required standards noting that the appearance before the EU Security Committee will follow the example of the other airlines companies.
- He further added that the technical issues were 100% in keeping with the standards denying the existence of technical problems on the Algerian flights likely to add them on the black list.
- Ouahid Bouabdellah has declared” It’s true that there are old aircrafts of different types” adding” in case of reserves expressed over some of them we will review the safety standards with accuracy”, He further added “ The company is now working on reviewing the required standards including the program designed to upgrade the pilots’ mastery of English”.
- He hinted to the parties that spread allegations that the Algerian company could be added to the “blacklist” were non governmental associations operating in the international civil aviation.
- It should be noted that the list issued by the European Union includes dozens of flight companies across the world doesn’t mention the name of the Algerian company but it is clearly state that the list was not exhaustive and could be expanded to other companies.
