USA is no longer a human rights’ teacher: PM Ouyahia
Algerian PM Ahmed Ouyahia
Algerian PM, Ahmed Ouyahia, criticized the U.S reports on the security matters in Algeria recently, pointing out that the time in which the US administration played the role of the teacher and fierce defender of the human rights has gone, in the same time, Ouyahia stepped up his voice about the parties which rejected the new procedures adopted in investments, saying that the largest shares go for the state. “Those who rejected the new measures are adopting the “bazaar†economy and have to wait for similar measures or more stringent,†Ouyahia added.

Ouyahia was the guest of the Algerian TV forum, Sunday, he did not spoke as a General Secretary of the RND but as a PM. He stressed that all the countries, when it comes to defending its interests, adopt strict procedures, that’s why the gates for investment are open to everyone wishing to, provided that the foreign capital ,wishing to enter Algeria, accepts its conditions.

He gave examples about the European countries which defended their borders, and said explicitly that the situation of the public treasury and the central bank help Algeria develop in the future, and any one who wishes to invest in Algeria must accept its conditions.

“I met with many foreign delegations; however they did not either complaint or criticize the new procedures. We know who is behind such criticism; they are supporters of the “bazaar” economy. More assertive procedures will be taken later on in order to protect the interests of Algeria,” Ouyahia added.

“USA is no longer that teacher who gives lessons about the human rights and torture. USA confirmed that it does not know something about Algeria. Its aggressive report came after Algeria refused normalization with Israel and reject the U.S demand to establish military bases on its territories,” he stressed.
