The government has included more amendments in the anti corruption law to anticipate and deter any civil servant attempting to exploit his position to either grant deals for others, or be a party in concluding suspect deals.
The government has included more amendments in the anti corruption law to anticipate and deter any civil servant attempting to exploit his position to either grant deals for others, or be a party in concluding suspect deals.
The new amendments stipulates 2 to 10 years sentence and a fine of 200 thousands DZD to 1 million DZD against people involved in sealing suspect deals or illegally attributing deals to others.
The new amendments are due to be in force as by October, reflecting the will of public authorities to toughen its war on corruption.
