After the Algerian Agency of International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development was the focus of a Spanish newspaper believed to be close to the Royal Palace in Morocco, this time the role came on a controversial media outlet, as it belonged to a country famous for its historical enmity in Algeria.

External interest this time is not like any other, because it comes from a country not like any other country, when it comes to Algeria, but it is the official Israeli channel “E24”, which allocated a share to this new “baby” whose presidency was assigned by Algeria to one of the well-known academics in the country, and he is the retired colonel, Mohamed Chafik Mesbah.

As for the Spanish newspaper, which was the forerunner to address the issue of developing the International Cooperation Agency, it is not known, and it can be described as a second-row newspaper, as it is not of the size of the “El Pais” or “El Mundo”, and its presentation regarding the agency was similar to the presentation of the Israeli channel, which indicates that there is a convergence or interest in dealing with the agency’s powers, its role, and its relationship with state institutions, such as the presidency and the army.

The Israeli channel went in a Tamiri course by adopting a trend that pushes to try to know the true purpose of developing this body, and its relationship to some regional issues, chief among them the Western Sahara issue, which is considered a landmark among the various presidents who successively succeeded at the Mouradia Palace.

The channel, which expresses the official Israeli viewpoint, said that the “Zionist” government is closely following the situation in Algeria, and an attempt to explore the direction of events at its internal level, as well as its dealings with new data that have emerged in the Arab arena, especially with regard to the announcement of some Gulf countries, such as The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, to establish diplomatic relations with the usurping entity, due to the impact of this nefarious contingency on the Palestinian issue.

The Algerian Agency of International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, according to the decree whereby it was established, is concerned with participating in establishing a national policy for international cooperation in the economic, social, humanitarian, cultural, educational, scientific and technical fields, and seeking to create new spaces that help diplomacy achieve its goals.

The responsibility of leading the agency has been assigned to an academic figure, and a seasoned expert in the field of strategy and supervision, represented by the person of retired colonel Chafik Mesbah, which has annoyed some external parties that have a rivalry with Algeria, fearing that this agency will contribute to a policy that may affect the course of some outstanding regional and international issues.

It is interesting to note that the two media outlets that dealt with the International Cooperation Agency, from two countries concerned with two issues, are considered fateful in relation to Algeria.

Spain is one of the pivotal states in the Western Sahara issue due to known historical considerations, and whose position remains close to Morocco, the main party in this issue, which has spanned more than four decades now.

As for the second method, it is an Israeli one, and everyone knows the magnitude of the historical hostility between Algeria and Tel Aviv, because at a time when some Arab countries that were believed to have been hostile to the usurping country began to weave relations with them on the table, Algeria remains on its historical stand firm in rejecting normalization, and support without any conditions the Palestinian cause.

There is no doubt that an Algerian position like this pushes the Hebrew state to read everything newly issued by Algeria, in the hope of dismantling its codes.

As a matter of fact, Palestine is present in almost all official positions and speeches, as it is an ethical and reference issue in the diplomatic doctrine of Algeria, which cannot create an agency for international cooperation, that changes its position on a core issue like the Palestinian cause.
