Zahir Kasih to Echorouk: “We are ready to build new housing units in Algeria at half price”

The Secretary General of the Arab-African organization for the promotion of trade, investment and real-estate, Mr Zahir Kasih, has affirmed that Arab building contractors are ready to engage in the construction of new housing units at a very affordable price in Algeria.

•  Mr Kasih who was on Thursday the distinguished guest of Echorouk’s Forum said that his non-governmental and apolitical organization was eager to launch building projects in Algeria and elsewhere in the Arab world and in Africa for the benefit of low-income recipients who are in dire need of decent accommodation.

• He argued to this effect that the cost to be incurred by this proposed provision of service was most affordable on all accounts and much lower than the expenditure accruing from building projects allotted by developing countries to Western or Chinese companies.

•  Mr Kasih further indicated that his active NGO, whose headquarters are located in Amman (Jordan), had a membership of 19 countries, adding that it was open to any queries or requests on the part of all Arab or African governments seeking to launch new building projects in their own countries
