Zeroual to receive delegations to discuss candidacy for presidential elections

Former Algerian President Liamine Zeroual officially accepted to receive delegations from 20 provinces representing the Movement of Free Martyrs’ Sons to talk about the next presidential elections, Echorouk has learnt.

Spokesman for the movement Taher Akouche said he received a call on Sunday from protocol office managed by Zeroual’s bodyguards. He was told the former president accepted to receive the representatives on July 3^rd.

He added that a large number of members of martyrs’ sons’ organizations in many provinces supported the call on Zeroual to run for office in 2014. A large delegation of 1,000 people is expected to gather next to Zeroual’s house in the province of Batna (east of Algeria).
