The security plan on the fight against terrorism, which was announced by the General Ahmed Guaed Salah, also Chief of the Algerian Army, on the last four July before the president Bouteflika during the academy’s annual graduation ceremony at the military academy of the various weapons in Cherchel, will start soon as approximately 10.000 soldiers at the national level will pursue the terrorist group in the various mountains, informed sources told Echorouk.

• The same sources said the General Ahmed Gaed Salah intensified in the recent weeks his visits to the various localities, particularly those noticing terrorist movements and attacks during the recent months.
• The security plan of the Army chief is based on the overall security coverage of the forests and isolated areas in order to block the movement of the terrorists through intensifying the presence of army troops there and mobile and fixed checkpoints in these regions.  
• 10.000 soldiers of the first military region including El Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Boumerdes, Medea, Ain Defla, Blida, and Tipaza, central Algeria and the fifth military region including Jijel, Constantine, Bejaia, Skikda, and Batna, east of Algeria, and the fifth military region including Ouargla, and Ghardaia, as well as the second military region in Oran.
