1,520 malicious websites luring Algerians to join “Daesh” , “Ahmadis” and “Worshipers of Demons”

Algerian security services in charge of the fight against cyber-crime have identified 1,520 nefarious propaganda websites specializing in recruiting Algerians in favor of the terrorist organization “Daesh” and inciting them to join the devious “Ahmadiyya” sect while calling for the promotion of the “Worshipping of the Devils” in the midst of the Algerian society.

Official sources told “Echorouk” on Tuesday that the security services in charge of the  struggle against cyber-crime made a tally of 60 percent of these deleterious sites and accounts active through the internet network and whose aim is to corrupt Algerian youth by inciting them to join terrorist groups and primarily the so-called “Daesh” organization.

The relevant services and in coordination with other security agencies have as a result mapped out an action-plan to counter such a dangerous threat by organizing counter- electronic attacks and filing prosecutions against a host of identified offenders.

Security authorities thus succeeded in identifying, according to the same sources, several culprits behind these malicious websites that promote  subversive ideas highly detrimental to the Islamic faith by   dismantling a string of shadowy networks at the level of several provinces of the country, notably in the capital Algiers, where more than 30 people were rounded up  in a record time.
