A delegation of journalists from Bielorussia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine, are visiting Algeria, for a few days, in order to see the country’s image and the ongoing economic changes taking place, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

• The 24 journalists attended, Wednesday, a lecture by the international expert in economy and development, Abdelmalek Serrai, in the framework of the Brussels European Formative program.
• The expert Serrai focused in the lecture on “Algeria’s energies” on the investment and the Algerian- European gas policy and Algeria’s position, as well as the relationship between Ukraine and Algeria and Algeria and Bielorussia.
• The visiting Journalists inquired about the financial resources and their destinations which are not reflected in the society, according to them, as Serrai confirmed that they are directed to the largest projects, such as roads and dams. They also asked for explanations about the situation of these resources and the extent of their use, as happens in their countries with a particular reference to the implementation of youth programs.
