Two illegal immigrants native to the region of Mostaganem (western Algeria) were last Friday buried by their families after being identified by their families thanks to the DNA analyses in one of the hospitals of Alicante, Spain.
-
The two young men go by the name Keddour Bey Lakhdar(22) and Belmadi Fethi ( 18).
-
“Echorouk” was informed that the identification of the illegal immigrants is conducted by a group of Algerian nationals originally from the same region of the dead young men. This group is established on the Spanish soil that is in charge of the expatriation of their Algerian fellow citizens and stands for all charges to facilitate the operation.
-
Sources revealed that some 300 illegal immigrants have vanished in the air since 2008, all of them departed from the region of “Aachaacha”. The group of Algerian benevolent presses the Spanish authorities to be more indulgent concerning the identification of the immigrants’ bodies as well as their expatriation which costs about 3 thousand Euros per body.
-
It should be noted that Algeria and Spain have signed a friendship agreement in 2003 which made possible to expatriate the two Algerian immigrants for free as part of the free movement of people agreement.
