300,000 people apply to Algeria army

A total of 300,000 people applied to the military school in Algeria due to open in Oran province (west of Algiers) after an entrance examination.

• The examination is expected to be held in the next few weeks. A total of 150 candidates will be selected.
• Algeria’s Military Academy based in Cherchel started recruiting teachers in various specialties. Applicants must have master or doctorate in mathematics, physics, chemistry, mechanic, English, French and computer skills. High school teachers of English and French can also apply. Candidates must be less than 40 years old and have all their civil rights.
• Baccalaureate successful candidates tend to apply to military schools in Algeria especially in scientific and technical specialities.
