500 Dockers threatened with expulsion in Algiers port
The Association of Algiers port decided to initiate a protest movement, by the beginning of the next week, to condemn the decision to prevent the offloading of the trade containers such as timber and cars, because about 500 Dockers will are suffering from unemployment.

The directorate of the international Algiers Port “Dubai Ports” called on all the workers, to attend the General Assembly for the creation of a general committee, as a group of workers told Echorouk that the rights of the workers are violated, particularly following the death of a the Dockers Issaoui Nabil who fell from the top of a ship during his functions.

The group of the Dockers in Dubai Ports, have received the invitations to attend the meeting, expressed their refusal of the General Assembly, to create a common committee, as they contacted the local union of Algiers, which confirmed, according to them, the right to dissent and ask for the creation of a trade union, explaining that the commission will issue, in the first steps, resolutions against the workers.
