6 goalkeepers called up by coach Saadane to join national football squad

In expectation of the upcoming official matches, the national football squad staff selected 6 goalkeepers likely to join the substitute one of the three goalkeepers that started the world cup qualifiers with the “Greens”.

• The names of the new shortlisted players includes Sidirik (JSM Bejaia), Sid Ahmed Fellah (CR Belouizdad), Hami Azeddine (NA Hussein dey), Malik Asselah , Zemamouche (MC Algiers), Nimes’ goalkeeper Haider  while the name of the former international Mohammed Ben Hammou, who recently joined the western club of MC Oran, was put on the roster of  head coach Rabah Saadane.
• He has indicated that this list is not a definitive one and will most probably be extended to include other names, adding that the national squad had always good goalkeepers in the past.
• Reliable sources revealed that Lounes Guaouaoui will remain the starting goalkeeper at least during the remaining two world cup qualifying matches while Faouzi Chaouchi will stand as his substitute.
