6,000 Algerians kicked out from many countries

More than 6,000 Algerians were kicked out from different countries while Algerian borders police drove out 5,130 foreign nationals across the Houari Boumediene International Airport.

The police reported 3,777 economic and financial crimes. A total of 8,934 cases related to public money were reported as well.

Mahmoud Rabah, a police regional inspector Monday told a press conference security measures were taken in 11 provinces to fight crimes.

“A total of 8,8605 cases were reported last year. A new plan will be carried out in new areas where new buildings were constructed,” he added.

Figures show that 6,037 Algerians were kicked out by many countries while 5,130 foreign nationals will be driven out from the Algiers Airport. At the same airport, borders police treated 1,059 cases and arrested 961 people. A total of 219 cases were treated at the Algiers Port and 264 criminals were arrested.

Speaking about traffic accidents, the police senior officer said 4,412 accidents took place injuring 5,270 and killing 174. A total of 86,045 driving licences were withdrawn, 339,468 fines were imposed and 17,424 cars were seized during the same year. A total of 24,273 traffic violations were reported.
