Latest statistics by the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism about the deficit in housing, show that 750.000 real demands on public social housing were recorded out of one and half million at the level of the Directorates of Housing and Local Services at 48 .

These figures will be actualised through recalling the concerned to monitor the part related to the wage value that is earned by those wishing to benefit from this housing formula, that is directed for the simple class of citizens, and the residence certificate that will be the decision to agree or not, as the file will be canceled automatically for those who have a document that proves their affiliation to the wilaya where the housing projects.

Reliable sources told Echorouk that local services will scrutiny in the wages of the concerned citizens through the payrolls that are presented among the files of demanding public social houses, and transforming files of those who receive 24000 dinars to the promotional housing, but the person demanding a house should provide his payroll and the one of his wife if she has a job, in order to identify the latest number on which future programs are based, and to avoid launching anarchical programs.

Number of citizens who tried to get houses and who deposited demands to obtain additional houses reaches more than 100.000 citizens, at a time the number of double demands reached more than 300.000 demands that were canceled and deleted from the general number of requests that was about 1.5 million demands, and by passing 750.000 demands in the sieve of wages, the number could decline to a half million request, with counting the housing shares that are under establishment estimated to 950.000 housing units in the open program, 404.000 under construction and 352.000 units that have not yet been launched in the public renting houses, which is equivalent to 755.000 houses according to the statistics of the ministry until 31 December 2012.
