Education: BAC 2015 to adopt “Synthetic Card”

National Education Ministry gave instructions to the departments of Education in Wilayas, to start working with the “synthetic card” through adopting a continuous assessment of the school work for pupils in the third year of secondary school, who will sit for the BAC exam, session of July 2015 , which will help them in the “good guidance” while granted the graduation, Echorouk informed sources said.

The same sources explained that the instruction that was sent by the Secretary-General of the National Education Ministry, Djamila Ayadi, to the Education Directorates of Wilayas for implementation, and inspectors of National Education for information and follow-up, which copy is available to Echorouk, No. 262/014, about the continuous evaluation in secondary education, explained that high school directors across the country are asked to proceed with the adoption of the so-called “Synthetic Card”, so that the professors evaluate the academic work of their pupils in classrooms, through including and registering the rates which they obtained, while the Secretary-General of the ministry invited them to the need to inform students of the third year secondary and even the second year in secondary schools this procedure, which entered into force, while it will provide them with more details and information as soon as possible.
“The procedure aims to return to work with the synthetic card, which have been canceled in the era of the former Minister Abou Bakr Ben Bouzid, to enable successful students in the BAC session of June 2015, to register in the university specialties that fit their desires, especially if their rates in the baccalaureate range between 10, and 11/20, and in this case DOE in Wilayas will resort, through Secondary Schools’ Directors to use the bank of information which includes the annual results that were obtained by candidates throughout the entire semester, and any continuous assessment of the work of the school for pupils, will be approved within the acceptance and guidance in the terms of reference of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
National Education Ministry also decided to include the annual average results that were obtained by students in the second year of secondary schools, with the addition of the third year of secondary education, and adopt them in the baccalaureate of June 2016, in order to enable each candidate who holds a baccalaureate degree from registration with the wished and desired division or specialization, through coordination between the Ministries of National Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research.
