Half million workers to paralyze municipalities

Protesters asked the Interior Ministry to review the category that will be included in reforming article 87 bis, of the labour law, asserting that a study was conducted by the SNAPAP shows that the simplest agent in municipalities should receive a monthly wage worth 55.000 DZD.

National Federation of Municipalities Workers, which belongs to the SNAPAP, decides to protest and threatens to paralyze and disable the services of extracting documents for three days, as from next October 25, thing that will have negative impacts on the services of civil protection, at a time they criticized the Interior Ministry procrastination in responding to their demands.

General Secretary of the NFMW, Hadi Dehilis told Echorouk on Friday; “Due to the injustice and marginalization against the municipalities workers and preventing them from getting their rights that are related to reviewing the basal wage, and approving some grants and allowances, we decide to launch a three days strike, and if the ministry will neglect our demands, we will resort to the open strike choice”.
