Tebboune threatens to end the lazy Housing Managers' functions

Housing Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune criticized the lazy directors of Housing and Urbanism, who fail in conducting the sector at the local level, as he confirmed in his meeting with the Managers of Housing for the Eastern Wilayas, on Monday, at the headquarters of the ministry, the need to accelerate the pace of achievement to complete the projects, vowing them to take deterrent actions against them, as Echorouk learned from official sources that a number of Housing Managers will end its mission by evaluating their activities throughout the year like the Director of Housing in Naama.

The minister, who fielded committees of the General Inspectorate to various Wilayas, in order to stand on the progress of the works, make a comparison between the numbers in his possession and those made ​​by officials of housing at the local level, as he insisted on the need to avoid providing false figures and commitment to provide the ministry with real accomplishments, and unveiling obstacles for condensing and eliminating them. 

Tebboune refused to include within his team some people who plagiarize the figures, “which makes the sector and officials lose their credibility in front of the people and the authorities”.

“Be honest with yourself and the people. How is it possible to talk about the works’ progress if you did not exceed 30% of the works? I trusted you… The one who betrayed us does not belong to us” in a clear reference to the punishment that awaits lazy officials.
