Labor party leader Louiza Hanoun accuses foreign parties of plotting against Algeria

The labor party leader Louiza Hanoun called on the future presidential elections candidates to set apart from their international supporters and overtly express their intent to enter the race without targeting the country’s institutions under cover of the fight against corruption.

She has indicated that Algeria was targeted in its unity and sovereignty singling out that she is not defending the president Bouteflika or the army’s chief of staff.

Louiza Hanoun has warned against a plot targeting Algeria that succeeded to avoid the trap of the so called “Arab spring” whose scheme was fomented by western countries, noting that the recent media uproar over the financial scandals including Sonatrach was triggered by some parties under cover of the fight against corruption.

She has asserted that those parties have the ambition to run for presidency but didn’t announce it overtly yet because they seek for support from western countries that plot against the stability of Algeria.

Louiza Hanoun wandered why the so called Sonatrach affair was raised in Italy and America, two countries where the phenomenon of  corruption is widespread” They prepare something against Algeria and those who want to run for presidency have to announce it without seeking support from abroad”

Talking at a press conference in the wake of the closing sessions of the party’s assembly, she said that the parties that plot against Algeria will face staunch resistance from the Algerian people as well as the elite, noting that she is not defending the president or his army’s chief of staff”.
