Merah Was Liquidated By French Inteligence, Lawyer
Ms Zahia Mokhtari

The lawyer of the father of French gunman Mohamed Merah, on Sunday affirmed having evidences that the Toulouse killer was subject to “liquidation” by the French Elite Police Unit (RAID).Ms Zahia Mokhtari told a press conference in Algiers that “we’ve got 2 reliable bootlegs of 20 minutes each, in which Mohamed asks the police: ‘Why do you kill me? I’m innocent!’”The lawyer is due to travel to Paris in the few next days to file complaint at the French justice. “People who were present at the spot, and who want that the truth to be uncovered, have provided me the records,” she said, adding that she would show these “reliable evidences to the French justice.”“Mohamed Merah was manipulated by French intelligence to perpetrate the shootings, and then was liquidated to keep the truth untold,” the lawyer accused. In the wake of Toulouse shootings, the AFP news agency quoted chief of RAID, Amaury de Hauteclocque as saying that “Merah was given the chance to the end. If there was an assault, it had been committed by Merah himself.” RAID official further mentioned that Merah decided to interrupt the negotiations and told the police “I’m a Mudjahid (fighter), I want to die with the weapon in my hand, you’ll kill me and I’ll be proud of that; I’m proud to fight the RAID, and I’ll kill as many of its elements as possible.”Ms Mokhtari further mentioned that she is due to provide the French justice “three names: an official at French intelligence, and two foreigners who worked with Mohamed Merah, in order to be heard on this case.” She specified that Mohamed Merah demanded to talk to journalists, but such a demand was declined, adding that “some French lawyers want to help us in this case.”“I trust the probity and the impartiality of the French justice,” the lawyer of the father of Mohamed Merah concluded.
