250 Algerian workers in Soralchin protest against the company’s abuses

More than 250 employees in the Chinese company Soralchin gather here on Sunday out of the Wilaya headquarters after a march of 40 km in Adrar, south of Algeria, protesting and condemning marginalization and exclusion by the Chinese administration and refusal of authorities to intervene and find solutions to their problems within his company.

The trade union called upon the civil society to support and help those workers in a stand of solidarity through pasting leaflets to the facades and entrances of mosques in order to gain some support, in light of the silence by the authorities and national and local elected about what is going on in this company.

The Chinese company replaced the Algerian protesters with Chinese employees and fired them using the public power and forced them to evacuate the factory before stopping the strike although its legitimacy.

The situation deteriorated because of abuses by the Chinese company and violation of the order by the general inspectorate of work to resort to mediation with the Algerian workers.
