A terrorist attack targets gendarmes east of Algiers

A patrol of the Algerian national gendarmerie was attacked by a group of terrorists in Tidjelabine, south of Boumerdes, east of Algiers. 

• Gendarmes were in a routine inspection of the region where suddenly started shooting them hiding in a nearby road, but luckily gendarmes responded to the attack and entered in an armed clash with the terrorists who escaped to an unknown destination.
• The terrorist attack left no injuries among the national gendarmes, as a terrorist is likely to be injured or killed during the clash.
