A terrorist attack targets gendarmes east of Algiers
A patrol of the Algerian national gendarmerie was attacked by a group of terrorists in Tidjelabine, south of Boumerdes, east of Algiers.

Gendarmes were in a routine inspection of the region where suddenly started shooting them hiding in a nearby road, but luckily gendarmes responded to the attack and entered in an armed clash with the terrorists who escaped to an unknown destination.

The terrorist attack left no injuries among the national gendarmes, as a terrorist is likely to be injured or killed during the clash.
