A terrorist surrenders west of Algeria

Security services of Mostaghanem, west of Algeria, received late last weekend a repentant terrorist from the popular city Tajdite, security sources told Echorouk.

  • The terrorist decided to leave the ranks of the salafist group for preaching and combat GSPC and return to his family and normal life.
  • The repentant terrorist “B.M” 32 year old joined Al Ansar battalion in 2008 after its leader Ben Touati surrendered and benefited from the measures of the national reconciliation, as well as many of his followers, including another terrorist who surrendered a few weeks ago.
  • Previously, Echorouk reported that four of the most prominent founders of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat GSPC called on terrorists to stop their activities and benefit from the measures of the national reconciliation.
  • They also declared, for the first times, their support for Hassan Hattab, former leader and founder of the Salafist Group, efforts. Their statements, based on the opinion of many Imams and Muslim preachers, criticized the legitimacy of the terrorists’ cause, focusing on the Sheikh Abdulkder Abdulaziz, who is one of Al-Qaeda’s ideologues.
