Abdelkader Ghezzal still confident about the qualification of the Fennecs

The striker Abdelakader Ghezzal has indicated that many reasons were behind the Algeria squad’s setback yesterday versus Malawi by including the weather conditions that prevailed during the match.

• The Italian club, Sienna, player has declared to Reuters” We have been surprised by the scorching temperature that affected us, though it was the case for the other side. We have lost our efficiency because we have belittled our component and got into the pitch with overconfidence”.
• In the wake of the dismal performance of the “Fennecs “versus the astonishing Malawi, Abdelkader Ghezzal was forced to admit that there isn’t such a weak or squad or a prey easy to swallow “ The Algeria squad are stronger than the pitiful performance they showed in the first match, we didn’t use the potential we should have, it seems that the logic of a small team doesn’t stand anymore”.
• As to the poor performance of the goalkeeper Fouzi Chaouchi who was responsible for two goals taken by the Fennecs, Abdelkader Ghezzal  said” Chaouchi’s  misjudgments led to goals, but the whole group is to be blamed for the defeat , it wasn’t our day and the score would have remained unchanged even if we played for hours … The match is over and we have learnt a lot; now we have to think seriously about the next match versus Mali”.
• Abdelkader Ghezzal expressed his view about the rest of the competition when he declared” We have to start the two upcoming matches with a winning spirit nothing more, we have secured a berth in the World Cup thanks to this resilience; if we keep this spirit and work altogether as one we can move to the second round, otherwise we’ll get back home”.
