Abdelkader Ghezzal to Echorouk: « I want to score my first goal before Ivory Coast »

Algeria team striker Abdelkader Ghezzal said he was controlled by the defence of the other teams that’s why he was not able to score.   

• “This problem pushed me to the midfield in order to ask for balls and distribute it to the other players in order to create other areas to play in different positions. I did not score because I was not focusing on the goal or haste, as I found myself most often alone in the attack thing which made my task difficult in front of defenders, however, this does not matter much as long as the team is heading in the right way”, he says.
• “The match against Ivory Coast will be difficult for both teams, may be Drogba’s team-mates are candidates for Africa Cup winners, however, we will challenge them and will do every thing to score. We are able to win because we have a strong team and players who can make the difference at any moment, and the proof is that we have defenders who can score and become strikers at any second such as Halliche”.
