Abdellaziz Ziari: “The dissolution of parliament is not the order of the day”
The Chairman of the National Popular Assembly Abdellaziz Ziari has ruled out the probability of dissolving the lower house of parliament by the head of the state as requested by several political parties including the workers’ party leader Louiza Hanoun saying that the question is not “ on the agenda†for the time being.

Talking yesterday on a French specking radio program, M Ziari said that the question of the “dissolution of the parliament was not raised at all”, contradicting the prime Minister’s declaration who last week said that the move was “ not out of reach”.

M Ziari has belittled and tempered arguments around the issue stating that “ the question hasn’t been raised at any moment and frankly speaking, it is a minor issue for the time being”.
-
-
He addressed the worried MPs saying” trust me there is nothing in the offing “, going in the same direction as the coalition parties and other parties sitting in parliament, on the contrary of the leader of the workers’ party who called so many times for early legislative elections to renew this house of parliament.

M Ziari went on with his arguments saying that the exceptional circumstances which will force the president, being the only eligible person, to dissolve the parliament are not fulfilled for the time being, citing the example of the stalemate between the legislative and executive bodies similar to that of 2003.

He said “The two powers have never coexisted in such a harmony”
